Regulatory (Licensing) Boards
As part of his Administrative Law practice, Demetrius Mazacoufa routinely represents health care providers and other professionals in Georgia who are facing investigations or licensing issues before the various boards which regulate their practices. These agencies include, but are not limited to, the Board of Nursing, the Board of Dentistry, Board of Pharmacy, and similar agencies. All of these regulatory Boards operate under the umbrella of the Georgia Secretary of State.
Given the rapid growth of complaints filed against physicians, dentists, nurses, pharmacists, and other professionals, these regulatory boards are increasingly active. Mr. Mazacoufa has represented scores of health professional clients before their respective boards.
